The Scam Artist Exposed

How to use the Internet to expose Scammers

Are you the victim of a scam?

Have you lost money to a con artist

If you want to hide your identity, you can do this easily. You can easily file a complaint against any scam artist in complete anonymity. Nobody has to know that you wrote it. You can use a fictitious name to file your claim against a fraudster.

For example, in the following website: http://www.ripoffreport.com, you can file a complaint against a con artist for free and you can even use a fictitious email and a fictitious name.

However, before you write a complaint against someone who scammed you, do not do so until you have read this entire page. After reading this page, you will be well prepared to present an excellent claim against a scam artist and help warn other members of society.

No. Defamation is when someone talks bad about another person based on lies. However, if you are telling the truth, then you have nothing to fear, and you have the right to express yourself.

Many scammers fear the Internet. It's their worst nightmare. The Internet is global, it’s free and you can expose a scammer all over the world. This way you can help ruin the reputation of the scammer worldwide. This way you can help prevent others from becoming the next victims. You can file a complaint and nobody will know that you did it.

It is important to publish the photo of the person who scammed you. They say a picture is worth a thousand words. You can ruin the reputation of a con artist with just one picture. And this is what scammers fear the most, a shattered reputation. Why? Because it’s going to be a lot harder for them to scam people when everyone knows they’re a scammer.

Let's be honest. Nobody wants to see their photo all over the Internet accusing them of being a swindler. This is embarrassing, and would be a nightmare come true for any individual. Of course, some scammers may not care. But it can still help warn other people about the scammer and possibly save them from becoming the next victim.

Do you believe it is right that scammers can con people and steal their money? How many people and families all over the world have suffered economic and emotional harm at the hands of swindlers? For this reason, it’s not a bad idea to denounce any person who has scammed you on the Internet so that more people can be saved from these thieves before more people get hurt.

Unfortunately, frauds and scams are increasing worldwide, especially now that we are in a global recession. And sadly many scammers are heartless individuals who many times target the most vulnerable populations in our society: the elderly. This is cruel and deplorable. Every day someone in the world someone is victimized by a cold hearted scam artist.

In many cases, victims lose everything and fall into poverty. The very least you should do is denounce the scammer so you can warn others before they too become victims. Many scammers prey on the elderly, resulting in an increase in poverty in society.

If you have the resources you can sue a con artist in court. However, it’s going to be very difficult for you to recover any money you lost to a scammer through the legal system. Unfortunately, many scammers are very clever and know how to cheat the system. Many of them are skilled in cheating the legal ssytem.

First of all, if you have no evidence (signatures, documents, receipts, witnesses, etc.), it is going to be very difficult to win a court case against a scammer. Secondly, even if you win the case in court, it remains a challenge to recover any lost money. Many scammers are also very clever when it comes to hiding their stolen fortunes.

Therefore, many scammers lose in court, but they walk out of court laughing because they know that their stolen money is well hidden. And in many cases, victims of scam artists wait many years for money that never comes.

Another disadvantage of the "legal system" is that in the US “financial crimes” are not punished as much as other crimes. Unfortunately, in the US a person who swindles many people for hundreds or thousands (or millions of dollars) and is usually found guilty, is sentenced to one to three years in prison. Now compare this with someone who is arrested for selling marijuana or cocaine. A drug-related conviction can carry 10 to 20 years in prison.

While the government does not treat financial thieves as criminals, they will continue to taunt the legal system. 1 to 3 years in prison is nothing if you have a fortune waiting outside. If you compare the harsh sentences given to drug-related offenses, financial criminals in the United States have it easy. While drug offenders and violent criminals face long prison sentences, financial offenders receive a slap on the wrist.

Now of course there are some exceptions. But most financial criminals do not receive the adequate justice they deserve. Unfortunately, for this reason, today most scammers are not afraid of the law or the judges. You could tell a scammer "I'll sue you" but this does not scare the skilled con artist.

Surely the scammer hid his money in a secret place (perhaps in another country) or under the name of another person. So, even if you win in court, the more likely scenario is that the scammer hid most of his stolen money out of the reach of the legal system. And seriously, why should these scammers or financial criminals be afraid of the justice system if most of them always get away with nothing more than a slap on the wrist?

Ok, so now that you know that in the US the legal system does not scare the most agile scam artist. So what other options do victims have? Is there anything else that can be used to bring some justice to the victims?

Yes, there is another option. And the other option is called the Internet. The Internet is something that many scammers fear because a ruined reputation online is a ruined reputation in the world. And ultimately, this means it will be harder for them to con other people.

Today, thanks to the Internet, anyone can expose a con artist easily. Technology has made it easy to expose con artists on a global scale and with a click of the mouse. In this blog I will show you how you can expose someone who has scammed you and help warn other people of a dishonest individual. The Internet is free, so you don’t have to spend any money. The only thing you really need to expose a con artist is a picture or image of the person who scammed you.

Will the scammer know that I exposed them?
If I publish the photo of someone who scammed me on the Internet, isn’t this defamation?

If you were victimized by a scammer, you have the right to report it. It is not defamation when the truth is told. If you tell the truth the law is on your side. You can write a complaint (with a photo or without a photo) in complete anonymity, so no one will know who made the complaint.

Why put a scammer’s photo on the Internet?
A photo can do a lot of damage to a person’s credibility

And on the internet a tarnished reputation is not just tarnished in the USA, but also in: Mexico, South America, the Caribbean, Central America, Europe, Africa, Middle East, Asia, etc., etc., etc. In other words, everywhere in the world where people have access to the Internet!

It’s always honorable to warn others so that they won’t also become victims

Why not sue a scam artist in court?

For example, many scammers open bank accounts with other people’s names, so this way the court system can’t go after it. For example, a scammer may open a bank account under a family member’s name, so this way the courts can’t touch his or her stolen money.

If the courts do not bring justice, what options do you have?

For this reason, today the "Internet" is a good option to help victims bring some justice. And the best part of using the Internet to do justice is that the Internet is free or cheap to use. For example, in some states of the US, public libraries offer free Internet access to residents. Even if you do not have Internet at home, there are many public places where you can use the Internet at a low price or for free.

It is certainly much cheaper to use the Internet to expose swindlers, than it is to hire an expensive lawyer to pursue these thieves. There are many photos and reports of online scammers exposing them as the thieves that they are. You can do a quick search: http://www.google.com/imghp (website google images) with the word "con artist" and you will see many scammers exposed worldwide.

If people see so many complaints online about a particular scammer, it will be harder for them to scam more people. The image is warning everyone out there, hey “watch out for this person,” who is unreliable and has a bad reputation. What a shame!

There are hundreds if not thousands of photos and complaints against scammers on the Internet worldwide and in all languages. Just do a search on "Google" with the word "scam artist" and you will see many links to websites that expose scammers. That's what I did and in a few minutes I saw many photos and reports of scammers all over the world and in many different languages.

Thanks to the Internet, technology today is helping victims fight back against scammers like never before. The Internet has become a nightmare for scammers. A damaged online reputation can ruin a person's life. And the good news is that anyone can expose a scammer online and in complete anonymity, and the scammer will not know who wrote it.

The truth is that the Internet is helping bring some justice to many victims of scammers. In the next post I will show how people are using technology to fight back against the scammers.

How victims are using the Internet to expose the scammers

How victims are using the Internet to expose the scammers

Before the Internet Era, scammers had it much easier. 20 years ago, a scam artist could easily swindle many people in one area and then move to a different state or country and start from scratch. Then they could find new victims and repeat the whole process over and over again. Many could get rich doing this and never face justice.

Whenever their reputation was damaged in one area, they would simply move to another place where no one knows who they are and they would start finding new victims. For example, a fraudster in Florida could move to New York and start from scratch.

Those were the good times for many scammers. Many became very wealthy and never had to experience any global shame because they could always find a place where no one knew the swindler they were, and they could retire rich with stolen money.

In other words, they could live the good life in a place where no one suspects the trash they really are. By changing their names (or names of their companies) and their phone numbers, these thieves could live peacefully without ever facing any justice or any shame.

Now the Internet changes everything

But now it's 2016 and times have changed. Today we live in the age of the Internet. Facebook is used by almost one billion people worldwide. The world population from 2016 stands at around 7 billion people in the world. Of these, more than 2 billion people use the Internet. This means that almost 2 out of every 7 people in the world use the Internet!

Today a swindler no longer has the advantage of picking up his (or her) bags and moving to another country and starting from scratch. Now with the Internet, it is easy to publish a photo and the actual legal name of a swindler.

And although many scammers use fake names, one photo of a fraudster can do the trick. With just one picture, anyone can expose a scammer and ruin their reputation all over the world. The image of a scammer on the Internet will be available to millions of people all over the world in almost all cities, states, and countries.

Now, the scammer can’t escape the shame and the humiliation. A reputation ruined on the Internet will make it much more difficult for them to scam other people. In addition, there are many free websites like http://www.ripoffreport.com, which are very popular, and are dedicated to helping victims of scams report scam artists. The old days when they could run to a new place and start from "zero" is over! Shame on them!

*But do not feel bad for them. Remember that scammers have no mercy when they steal from innocent people. At the very least, they should pay with humiliation and shame.

The results:

With a damaged reputation online, it will be harder for a fraudster to get a job, to do business, to get loans, to scam new victims, etc. This way you will be helping to safeguard other people and families from financial and emotional damage.

They don’t say that technology is the future for any reason. It is true that technology is changing the world. Today many people marry people they meet online. But the Internet has not only created opportunities for people to find love, it has also created opportunities for the police to find criminals and bring justice. Some people use the Internet to sell products successfully. And now anyone can use the Internet to expose a scam artist and ruin their reputation!

Charles Ponzi, one of the worst scammers in all history. He is considered the father of the infamous Ponzi scheme or pyramid scheme. This photo is an original photo of Charles Ponzi after being arrested for fraud. For more information about the shocking story of Charles Ponzi feel free to visit: http://wikipedia.org/wiki/Carlo_Ponzi

Public Domain Photo

This YouTube video shows the story behind Charles Ponzi and other pyramid schemes that defrauded many people around the world:

Today have a bad reputation on the Internet can be devastating for anyone. Example: Many business managers now make Google searches before hiring someone. For example, say John Doe of Texas has applied for a job at a local bank Bank of America. The manager has interviewed John Doe and so far everything looks good.

However, the manager also does a search on Google (the most popular search engine) to see if John Doe has a "bad reputation" on the Internet. The manager also views John Doe’s Facebook profile to see if there is anything suspicious. If the manager finds any negative information, then it is likely that the manager will not hire John Doe.

Now if John Doe does not have anything negative in his past, his chances of being hired are much better. In short, today having a bad reputation on the internet can hinder your chances when applying for some jobs.

Every day this happens. More and more companies are doing "investigations" on the Internet before hiring new staff. This means that today having a good reputation on the "Internet" is very important to land a good job, to do business with people, for socializing, etc. A bad reputation on the internet won’t help at all and can even make a person’s life a nightmare.

In another example, let’s say a car dealership in California called Cali Auto Dealer is listed on http://www.yp.com. Any customer can go to http://www.yp.com and leave a comment about their experience with Cali Auto Dealer. If a person bought a car from this dealer and they feel that they were deceived, this person can leave a bad review for Cali Auto Dealer on http://www.yp.com. Any customer can leave a comment anonymously.

If Cali Auto Dealer has many good reviews, his business will grow. However, if Cali Auto Dealer has many bad reviews or complaints, his business can fall apart. This is the reason why today having a good reputation on the Internet is essential for any company that wants to succeed in the long run. If a company gets too many bad reviews, they will lose more and more customers, which can even lead to the eventual bankruptcy of the company.

http://www.yp.com is just one example. There are many websites similar to http://www.yp.com on the Internet that allow consumers to leave comments about their experiences with a certain business. Other popular websites like http://www.yp.com where you can also leave comments about businesses or individual entrepreneurs are: http://www.yahoo.com, http://www.superpages.com, http: //www.google.com, http://www.yelp.com and many more.

So today, the reputation of a company, individual or any business on the Internet is very important to maintain a positive image in society. Not only for individuals but also for businesses. This is a powerful weapon that can be used against someone who has scammed you.

If you sue a scam artist in court and you could not recover any of your lost money, or you do not have the resources to hire a lawyer, or you lack enough evidence to win a case, or the con artist is very agile and knows how to hide his wealth from the courts, remember, you can always use the Internet to bring some sweet justice!

Don’t let these thieves get away with it. Don’t let them move to another place and start from zero. Even if you have no chance of recovering your money, at least ensure that the scammer will struggle to scam other people.

Remember that many families suffer every day because of unscrupulous scammers who don’t care if they leave people in poverty. We all know that many scammers deceive many people. In general, they don’t just victimize one person. They usually target many people. They go on and on and scamming many different people and often in the very same way.

If we do nothing to stop these scammers, our global society will continue to suffer from the hands of these heartless scammers. The Internet is the key to bring some justice. The least we can do is help others so they won’t suffer the same fate. Don’t stand there with your arms folded.

You have the powerful Internet in your hands. And nothing can stop it: besides, the Internet is cheap or even free in some places. In the next post I will cover why it’s important that victims of scammers warn the public for the betterment of society.

Justice for the victims of scams

Justice for the victims of Scams

Remember that you can only sue a person if you are the victim of a scam. If someone scammed you, then you have the right to report them worldwide on the Internet. For example, say I make a verbal agreement with you to sell you my car tomorrow. A verbal agreement is legal in most jurisdictions.

Let's say we both agreed that tomorrow you will give me $10,000 and I will give my 2010 Toyota Camry. The next day we meet and you give me $10,000 USD in cash. Now I say, "Ok, I'll bring the car, just give me a few minutes."

But instead of returning with the Toyota Camry, I disappear and never return. You are shocked. You can’t believe it. But I disappear with your $10,000 in my pocket and you never see me again. You call me, but I changed my phone number. You look for me, but I moved to another city. It's as if I disappeared from the earth.

This is a fraud. And this dishonest act on my part makes me a scam artist. Unless I return and give you back all your money and apologize, I just scammed you. And the more time passes, the harder it will be for you to get back your money. In a situation like this, you have every right to denounce me publicly on the Internet or anywhere.

Why use the Internet to expose a scammer?

Well, first of all, using the Internet is cheap or even free in many places. On the contrary, using other popular communication channels such as television, radio, newspapers, etc. usually are very expensive. Second, television, radio, newspapers, brochures, etc. they are all usually limited by geography. By contrast, the Internet has a global reach, and thus the whole world will be informed of the person who scammed you.

This YouTube video shows how insensitive many scammers can be, taking advantage of elderly people:

And I regret to say that most victims of scams never recover all or most of their money when they go to court. Sure, if you have the resources to hire a lawyer it doesn’t hurt to try. But unfortunately, in most court cases, scammers never pay for what they do to people. If you don’t have the funds to hire a lawyer, you can always use the Internet to bring some justice. Not only will you humiliate and shame the person who scammed you, but you will also be helping warn other people.

It’s all about justice

This is not about getting revenge. It’s all about brining justice and warning other people so you can help society. You have the right to ruin the reputation of anyone who did wrong to you, whether someone stole money or other valuable assets like your property, car, jewelry, etc. You should at least do this so you can help warn others in the world as many scam artists move to other states or countries and seek new victims.

And do not do so in a vindictive manner. Do so in a way so that others will not suffer in the same way that you suffered. If you do nothing, the scammer will continue to cause harm to others. This is very sad, because many families fall into poverty after being scammed and this happens all over the world. At least warn others so that other families do not suffer the same fate. It is beneficial for our global society that we all join together against these cold-blooded characters.

What if I was scammed by a company or business?

If you were scammed by a company or business, everyone involved in the company or business are accomplices of the scam artist. Most scam artists usually work alone, however, in many cases, scammers have accomplices.

Sometimes scammers use accomplices, since it is easier to fool people. For example, if you walk into an office and see 3 people dressed in professional attire, you will probably think that this company is legit. This makes it easier for the scam artist to scam you. Many scammers use businesses as a camouflage to hide their dirty tactics.

For example, a scammer can operate a business that seems legitimate, however, the main objective may be seeking loans from other people, and then disappear with the money. This is an easy way for them to steal money from people. If someone is scammed by a business, everyone associated with this business are complicit. Sometimes, scammers have their best friends, boyfriend or girlfriend, husband, wife, brother or other family member to help them out.

These family members or friends are accomplices to the crime. Saying "I knew nothing" is not an excuse. If they are involved in a scam, then they are guilty as accomplices to the crime. Ignorance is no excuse to steal from others. If you have been the victim of a scam operated by a company, everyone involved is guilty and you have the right to report everyone involved, including con artists and all his or her accomplices.

What if they change their names?

Most scammers change their names constantly. They can also change their company names and phone numbers. Usually they move from city to city looking for new victims. Once they are in hot water in one area, they usually just pack up their bags and head to a new city, state or country.

However, there is a weak point in their arsenal. Anyone can change their name or phone number, but it is very difficult to change their face. Plastic surgery is a very expensive and risky procedure. It is very risky and usually it is still possible to identify a person, even after they try to "change their face."
A good example is Mr. Vladimiro Montesinos of Peru.

Montesinos was wanted by police in Peru for a case of a millionaire fraud. Mr. Montesinos himself had plastic surgery and was living in Venezuela trying to escape from justice. However, even with plastic surgery, Mr. Montesinos was identified and captured.

It’s not that easy to change our faces. Not only is the procedure is very expensive, but is also very risky. Plastic surgery could not save Vladimiro Montesinos from facing justice.

Together united against scammers

So how can you report a scammer on the Internet? It is easy. There are 10 strategies to report a scammer on the Internet. And the good thing is that all of this is free. In the next post I will explain the 10 strategies to report a scammer on the Internet.

10 Strategies to report a scammer on the Internet Part 1

10 Strategies to report a scammer on the Internet

Strategy # 1: Write your report anonymously

5 Rules for writing a complaint properly

1 Do not attempt to represent a police officer unless you are a police officer.

Only the police department can issue a complaint  with the term "police are looking for John Doe (example)." In general, the police send complaints when a person is wanted by the court for a felony charge and the person is hiding. However, it is against the law to represent a police officer. If you want to warn society of a particular scammer, do it, but just don’t use the name of the police in the complaint. You may also write the complaint anonymously.

2 Use the words "looking for" in the complaint only if you have lost contact with the scammer

If you are looking for the scammer because he or she has changed their phone number, address, etc. and you lost contact with them, then you can use the words "looking for" in the complaint. However, if you have already spoken to the scammer and he or she has refused to pay back the money they owe you, then there is no need to use the words "looking for" in the complaint.

3 If you have already spoken to the person who conned him and they refuse to pay you, then you can write a complaint to warn society

If a long time has passed and the scammer has not returned your money, you have the right to denounce him or her. Use words like "be careful" or "warning" in your complaint. These words are good because they can help warn the public about the scammer. It is legal to use these terms in your complaints as long as you are telling the truth and this way society is warned to beware of a particular scam artist.

4 Be honest

When denouncing a scammer on the Internet, you must be honest. As long as you’re telling the truth, you aren’t doing anything wrong. I would also advise you to not use profane language. Do not misunderstand me, I want justice as much as you do. But do not forget that we must never lose our dignity. Simply explain that this particular individual has scammed you and you are warning others to beware.

5 Be anonymous if you do not want the scammer knows you wrote the complaint

If you do not mind that the scammer may later find out that you wrote it, then you can use your real name. However, if you suspect that the scammer is a dangerous individual, it may be a better idea to use a fictitious name to protect your identity. Most scammers victimize many people, so most likely they will no idea who wrote the complaint, providing that you use a false (fictitious) name.

Here is an example of an honest, fair, and well written complaint exposing a scammer:

Warning: Never put your personal information in the complaint. If you want to use your real name that is fine, but never enter any personal data such as your home address. You can also choose to use a fictitious name if desired.

Example of a complaint on the Internet against a Scam Artist

Beware of scam artist!

I am a victim of a con artist couple, John Doe and his wife Jane Doe of Miami, Florida. Mr. John Doe asked me to let him borrow money for his business. He promised that he would pay me my money with an interest of 10% in 6 months.
However, it's been a year and he still has not paid me. Both of them have changed their phone numbers and contact information. In fact, they have disappeared. This is why I am presenting this complaint. John Doe and his wife Jane Doe have scammed me. I lost a lot of money. Be very careful with these people. If you have any information regarding these individuals, you can send it here: (your email goes here)

Since Mr. John Doe and his wife Jane Doe have defrauded many people, it is very likely that they are using fake names. For this reason, I have attached a picture of them to this complaint. If you see these people, be careful. They owe money to many people and are scam artists.

Good luck,

Tony, Miami, Florida

(Photo of scammer goes here)

Public Domain Photo

Note: Remember, you can always use a fictitious name, if you wish. If you were scammed by several people, but you only have the picture of one of the scammers, then use that picture. It is better to have one picture of a scammer than have no photo. In addition, you can always create a free email account under a fictitious name if desired. Two of the most popular websites to create a free email are: http://www.yahoomail.com  and http://www.gmail.com.

This complaint is a good example of how to write a report in the most sincere and honest way. There is no need to use profane language. All that is needed is to inform the public. The point is to warn the public so that they will not become the next victims. However, you can’t block out the sun with one finger. A thief is a thief here and everywhere. The use of the word "scammer" is all fair since that is exactly what they are right?

Strategy # 2: Get photos of the scammer

Bernie Madoff is the orchestrator of what is considered one of the worst Ponzi schemes in history. Bernie Madoff was sentenced to 150 years in prison in 2009. He is currently in jail. For more information about the shocking story of Bernie Madoff, please visit:

Public Domain Photo

This YouTube video shows the shocking story of Bernie Madoff and the immense damage he did to society:

A complaint with a photo does more damage to the scammer than a complaint without a photo. Why? Because a picture is worth a thousand words. It is common knowledge that many scammers change their names constantly. This means that if don’t have a photo of the scammer, they can simply change their name they can continue to scam more unsuspecting people.

However, just one good image can expose any scammer even if he or she changes their name. Just one picture will do the trick. People will still be able to recognize a person by their photo. For this reason, you should try to find a picture of the person who scammed you. All you need is one decent photo of the scammer and you can expose him or her to the whole world. If possible, a recent picture is better. However, any photo is better than nothing.

If you were scammed by a business, you can use the photos of all the accomplices of the scammer. Everyone involved in the scam is guilty and should be exposed. If you do not have a picture of the scammer, try to find at least one photo. If the scammer is someone from your inner circle, try asking friends if they have a picture of him or her. Be careful when asking for a photo, you do not want to appear suspicious. Pretend that you are simply looking for a picture because the individual is very dear to you and you want to include them in your personal album.

If this does not work, then do a search on http://www.google.com/imghp (website for Google images) with the full legal name of the scam artist. You would be surprised how many public images are displayed on Google. If this does not work, make multiple searches on the popular social web site http://www.facebook.com with the legal name of the scammer and or using the scammer’s email address. You can also search for friends or acquaintances of the scammer on Facebook, as you never know if the scammer is on the friend list of one of your acquaintances.

If you find the scammer’s profile on Facebook, it's easy to snatch a profile picture. Just right-click on the image and click “save file as” and save it on an image folder on your computer. If none of this works, try to find out the origin of the scammer, what country or hometown is he or she from? Try to find out what high school the scammer when he or she was younger.

Many schools publish yearbooks when teens graduate. If you are able to find the high school where the scammer graduated, you can then try to acquire the online yearbook from someone who graduated from that school. Who doesn’t take pictures when they graduate from high school?

The image you are looking for may very well be in a high school yearbook. If in the end the scammer is embarrassed and he (or she) hates taking pictures (do not be surprised, many scammers hate pictures because this exposes them to the public) and it is impossible to find an image, then you can still file a complaint without the image. However, the complaint will not be as effective as a complaint with a photo. For now, publish your complaint, but in the future if you find a picture of the scammer, you can always add the photo to your complaint.

Note: A good tactic is to offer $100 or $50 to anyone who can send a digital photo (via email) of the scam artist. Money is always a good motivator if you need help. There are professional detectives out there who can easily snatch a photo of a con artist who is unaware.

Note: It doesn’t matter if the photo is physical or digital. If the photo is physical, you can easily scan in with a scanner and convert the image into digital format. Then, you can upload the image to the Internet. If you don’t have a scanner, no problem, there are many companies that have scanners and the cost is usually low. For example, Office Max and or Walgreens have scanners.

Strategy # 3 Use a public computer (optional)

This strategy is optional. You can always file a complaint from your personal computer. However, if you want to stay 100% anonymous, you can also use a public computer. Why? Well, personal computers can be tracked by computer professionals. However, this is very unlikely, but it is true that it is possible to trace a computer. However, in order to accomplish this, usually the individual needs to be highly specialized, such as a hacker.

However, by using a public computer, even if they trace the computer nobody will know who wrote the complaint. For example, almost all cities have several Internet cafés or public computers. If you publish the report in an Internet cafe, even if the computer is traced, no one will know you did it. Thus, if the scammer is a skilled hacker and decides to track down the complaint to find out who wrote it, he or she will end up in an Internet cafe. There will be no evidence of who wrote the complaint, and therefore the scammer will not be able to sue you for defamation.

However, note that it is very difficult for a scammer to win a libel suit, since freedom of expression includes truth and honesty. It is also very difficult for a scammer to trace a computer unless he or she is a highly qualified computer professional. However, some people prefer to do things in a way where they are 100% sure that the scammer will never find out they wrote it.

However, most people write the complaints on their own computers. If you're telling the truth, then you really have nothing to fear, even if they later find out that you wrote it. As the saying goes, "he who has done nothing wrong, has nothing to fear." However, today in this world in which we live, even bad people can hire a lawyer if they want and can sue anyone.

But just because someone sues, it does not mean that they will win. However, some people prefer to eliminate any unnecessary headaches, so for this reason complaints can be published anonymously and from a public computer.

Also, many websites dedicated to tackling scammers head on like http://www.ripoffreport.com have their own lawyers who fight against these spineless scammers who are trying to sue for defamation in order to hide their embarrassment of being exposed worldwide.

Why are scammers afraid of websites like http://www.ripoffreport.com  and they try to sue to take down these websites? Scammers are very afraid of web sites like Rip Off Report, as these websites expose scammers for what they really are: charlatans. Who wants to see a picture of themselves exposing (calling them a “thief”) them to millions of people worldwide? Now they cry crocodile tears.

For this reason they have tried to take down websites like Rip Off Report but they have failed. The moral of the lesson is that anyone can sue, but what really counts is who is telling the truth. Many dishonest scammers have hired lawyers and have tried to close down websites like http://www.ripoffreport.com in the courts, but they have failed. Rip Off Report is still operating.

This is a victory for the freedom of expression and for the freedom to speak the truth! However, it is always good to know that you have the option of writing your complaint from an Internet cafe. Most complaints will only take about 20 to 30 minutes to complete. And most Internet Cafes charge about a few dollars per hour.

Strategy # 4 Complaints Board Website

http://www.complaintsboard.com/ is a website dedicated to helping victims of scams denounce people who scammed them. The good news is that this website is very easy to use. You can easily file a complaint with a business or individual who scammed you. All you have to do is go to the main website and click on “submit a complaint” button and fill out the form.

Before writing your complaint, read other complaints from people so you can get a good idea. As you will see, there are many people who write complaints about dishonest people and or businesses who have defrauded people. This is proof that you can take action and fight against these fraudsters. Hopefully more and more people will use this website for the public to be warned against unscrupulous individuals and or businesses.

Note: You can always use a fictitious name when you submit a complaint presented on the website: http://www.complaintsboard.com/

In the next post I will continue with the other 5 strategies on how to expose a scammer on the Internet.
